CCJ Mortgages.
I have an unsatisfied County Court Judgement (CCJ) will I be able to get a mortgage?
A CCJ (County Court Judgement) that is either satisfied or unsatisfied will not preclude you from getting a mortgage. There are many lenders in the market prepared to lend to clients with multiple CCJs. The mortgage rate offered will depend upon the size of the CCJ(s) and the how old the CCJ is.
If you have unsatisfied CCJs then the number of lenders prepared to offer you a mortgage is reduced however it is still possible to secure a mortgage either to buy a new property or to remortgage you existing property - possibly to repay existing debts.
Many lenders will ignore satisfied CCJs for less than £250 and some will ignore satisfied CCJs altogether or those that are a number of years old. Speak to an independent mortgage adviser such as Endsleigh Financial and get immediate advice by a qualified adviser.
